personal fitness program

Exercise program design is for individuals interested in a personalized exercise program based on individual goals, interests, health history, medical considerations, and personal preferences. A complete health history is collected and health goals and interests are assessed. An exercise program is developed based on this information and then shown to the client. Program development is generally completed in a minimum of 2-3 sessions lasting between 30-90 minutes.

Initial Consultation

This service begins with a comprehensive health consultation providing vital information about medical issues and health risks. Depending on health status, the client may need to obtain a physician's clearance or specific guidelines and/or recommendations from a physician. Also included in the initial consultation is a goal setting assessment and discussions about exercise preferences, previous exercise programs, and time limitations.

Exercise Programs

Incorporating all of this information, we then work with the client to develop a cardiovascular, strength training, and flexibility program that will fit his/her individual needs and schedule. The client is provided with a hands-on orientation of the exercise equipment and shown how to use each piece properly and effectively.

Exercise programs can be designed for anyone, from those with disabilities or medical conditions to elite athletes in training for a particular sport. Depending on interest, programs are developed for exercising at home, outside or in a fitness center. All exercise programs follow the American College of Sportsmedicine Guidelines for Exercise Prescription and will be developed by the Director of Energy in Motion, LLC, Tiffiny Twardowsky, MS.
